Vegan Dance Shoes
International Dance Shoes has an expansive selection of animal free dance shoes. Dance shoes usually have a leather sole. IDS Dance Shoes offers an option to use a vegan substitute for the traditional suede leather soles that they normally use as well as all other part including the glue, are entirely animal free.
Black or beige soles will be used for the vegan shoes as the company does not have a vegan version for Red, Turquoise or White sole material. Vegan shoes are considered bespoke (made for a particular customer) and are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless there is a manufacturing fault.
IDS Dance Shoes is the first major dance shoes brand to offer such a service and I applaud them for leading the way and showing other dance shoe makers that it is possible. How To Choose Vegan Options on the IDS Website:
After you find the shoe you want (all of their shoes can be made vegan), click on “Sole Colour”. Select a vegan option (there may be more than one) and the entire shoe will be made vegan. If you don’t see a vegan option under “sole colour”, e-mail or call the company to place your order. You can also request to make any shoe on their website vegan by placing a note in the order comments section.
