Swing Shoes

I love swing dancing because the shoes are so comfy! I can dance for days and my feet won’t hurt.

If you are just starting out and don’t have much $ you can buy some Ked knock offs that fit well and take them to a cobbler. Ask him to shave down the bottom enough to make them flexible and suede them for you. Miracle Shoe Care Center or Star Shoe Service can do this for you.

For a dressier look women will want some wedgies! (no higher than a 2 ½” heels) Women with small feet you may be able to find some vintage wedgies in your local thrift shop or in my online thrift store. Another popular option is to buy vintage remakes. You can purchase them at the Los Angeles stores below or order them online.

Savoy Cats

The owner of Savoy Cats, rebranded his shoe company in order to disassociate his old brand from a man who has since been banned from the global swing community. We salute him for making this change. Check out his gorgeous shoes under this new and improved brand on the link above. Savoy Cats also “donates part of its benefits to www.violenciadegenere.org”
